ESS-GV Holdings LLC Assigns Claims in Face Amount of $125.8 Million to RREF III Storage IV LLC in GVS Texas Holdings I LLC.
February 9, 2022, Northern District of Texas – Bayard PA and ESS-GV Holdings LLC transfer rights, titles, and interests in their claims in the bankruptcy case of GVS Texas Holdings I LLC. As per the notices filed under Rule 3001(e)(1) of the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District for Texas, Argo Partners and RREF III Storage IV LLC have acquired these claims from the transferors, respectively. While Bayard PA had a claim in face amount of $479,663.26 (transferred to Argo Partners) , ESS-GV Holdings LLC had a claim in face amount of $125,802,405.06 (transferred to RREF III Storage IV LLC ) against GVS Texas Holdings I LLC. With the transfer of claims being docketed in the Court, the right, title and interest in both the claims now stand transferred to respective transferees.
Last year on June 17, 2021, GVS Texas Holdings I, LLC and certain of its affiliates filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. On June 23, 2021, GVS Portfolio I C, LLC also filed a voluntary petition for relief. The cases are pending before the Honorable Michelle V. Larson and are being jointly administered for procedural purposes under case number 21-31121.
