Argo Partner Buys $300K Claim in the L’Occitane, Inc Bankruptcy
September 1, 2021, District of New Jersey – Isobar Technologies Switzerland nka Merkle Technology, a global digital experience company, recently transferred its claim worth $300k to Argo Partners in LOccitane Inc. bankruptcy under a transfer agreement executed between the parties on August 30, 2021. Objections, if any to the transfer of claim, are required to be filed with the court within twenty-one (21) days of the mailing of the notice of the transfer. As stated in the notice of transfer of claim – If no objection is timely received by the court, the transferee will be substituted as the original claimant without further order of the court.
L’Occitane, Inc. manufactures and sells skincare products. It filed the voluntary Chapter 11 petition earlier this year on January 26, 2021 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. The case is pending before the Honorable Michael B. Kaplan under Case number 21-10632. The filing did not include the L’OCCITANE en Provence brand or any operations outside the U.S.; parent company L’Occitane International S.A. (Group); or any other Group subsidiaries, including ELEMIS and LimeLife.
