Trustee Rodney D. Tow Moves to Dismiss Adversary Proceeding Against a Luxurious Casino Resort on the Gulf Coast

May 27, 2021, Southern District of Texas – Trustee Rodney D. Tow for the bankruptcy estate of Debtor Abousaoui Financial, LLC recently filed a motion to dismiss a complaint against Defendant Golden Nugget Lake Charles, LLC in a Texas Bankruptcy Court. According to the motion, the Trustee and Defendant have settled the matter amongst themselves and the Court has approved the settlement. The settlement has allegedly been consummated and funded. Accordingly, per the terms of the parties’ settlement agreement, the Trustee seeks an order dismissing its complaint filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Texas with prejudice.

The case is In re Abousaoui Financial, LLC, Case No.18-32888 in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
