Velarde & Yaras Appointed as Debtor’s Counsel in Taj & Ark, LLC Bankruptcy; May Bring Adversary Proceedings For Benefit of Debtor’s Estate

February 14, 2022, District of New Mexico – Upon consideration on the application of Debtor Taj & Ark, LLC for approving the employment and retention of the law office of Gerald R. Velarde & Velarde & Yaras (“V&Y”) as its general counsel, Honorable Judge Robert H Jacobvitz grants Taj & Ark’s application and appoints V&Y as Debtor’s general counsel. As stated in the application, the counsel has been and will be employed to represent and render legal advice to Debtor regarding all aspects of the bankruptcy case, including, but not limited to:
- meetings of creditors, claims objections, adversary proceedings, plan confirmation, and all hearing before the Court;
- prepare, on behalf of Debtor, necessary petitions, answers, motions, applications, orders, reports, and other legal papers, including Debtor’s plan of reorganization and disclosure statement;
- assist Debtor in taking actions required to effect reorganization under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code;
- perform all legal services necessary or appropriate for Debtor’s continued operation; and perform any other legal services for Debtor as it deems appropriate.
