March 1, 2022, Middle District of Tennessee – Plaintiff Michael Gigandet, Chapter 7 Trustee for the bankruptcy estates of Woodtex, LLC, Woodtex of New York, LLC, Woodtex of Texas, LLC, Woodtex of Tennessee, LLC (“Debtors”) files eighteen clawback actions to recover more than $500K in alleged preferential transfers.
The most significant creditors against whom the Trustee has brought lawsuits include Exodus HR, LLC, Garner Construction, Theodore Kent Lapp, Seneca Lake Enterprises, LLC, Merchants Automotive Group, LLC, et al.
The Debtors filed for voluntary bankruptcy petition under Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code on March 2, 2020. The Court substantively consolidated the Debtors’ cases on April 30, 2020. The Trustee is represented by the law firm of Thompson Burton PLLC. Honorable Marian F Harrison presides over the Debtors’ bankruptcy case.
