Remington Outdoor Company Creditor Trust Files 140 Clawback Lawsuits

January 21, 2022, Northern District of Alabama – Eugene I. Davis, as the plan administrator supervising the Remington Outdoor Company Creditor Trust, files one hundred and forty (140) clawback lawsuits to avoid and recover more than $16 million in alleged preferential and fraudulent transfers and to disallow any claims held by the defendants under Sections 547, 548 and 502 of the Bankruptcy Code in the bankruptcy case of Debtors Remington Outdoor Company, Inc., et al.

Before filing for bankruptcy, the Debtors, as manufacturers of firearms and ammunition, maintained business relationships with various business entities, through which they regularly purchased, sold, received, and delivered goods and services. The Debtors also regularly paid for services used to facilitate their business. The case is In re: Remington Outdoor Company, Inc., et al. jointly administered under Case No. 20-81688-CRJ11. ASK LLP represents the Trustee, and Honorable Clifton R. Jessup Jr. oversees the Debtor’s bankruptcy cases.
