Premier Education Group Trustee Seeks $19 Million for Alleged Breach of Contract

October 13, 2021, Eastern District of Pennsylvania – Plaintiff Trustee Christine C. Shubert for the estate of Premier Education Group, LP d/b/a Harris School of Business, d/b/a Salter Career School, d/b/a Salter College, d/b/a Salter School of Nursing, d/b/a Brandford Hall Career Institute, d/b/a Hallmark School of Photography, d/b/a American College of Medical Careers, d/b/a Seacoast Career School, d/b/a American School of Nursing & Medical Careers sues Defendants Trigram Education Partners, LLC and Minerva Inflection Strategies, LP for alleged breach of contract, unjust enrichment, turnover of property and detrimental reliance.

The Trustee urges the Court to enter a judgment for the Plaintiff and against the Defendants for $19,159,718.04. Allegedly, the Debtor and the Defendants entered into a sales agreement, whereby the Defendants agreed to assume, pay and perform the assumed liabilities. The Trustee argues that the Defendants breached the contract and failed to deliver, perform or discharge the assumed liabilities and owes a sum of $19 million to the Debtor’s estate. The Trustee also asserts that the Debtor detrimentally relied on the Defendants’ promise to pat and perform the assumed liabilities.
