Honorable Judge Kathy Surratt States Approves the Appointment of Rourke Law, LLC as a Special Counsel in Rolling Hills Apartments LLC Bankruptcy

June 8, 2021, Eastern District of Missouri – The United States Bankruptcy Court for Eastern District of Missouri has recently approved the application of Rolling Hills Apartments, LLC (“Debtor”) for entry of an order authorizing the employment of Rourke Law, LLC as a special counsel for the Debtor. The case is In re Rolling Hills Apartment, LLC (21-41314) in the United States Bankruptcy Court for Eastern District of Missouri.

As stated in the application filed with the bankruptcy court, the law firm does not have any actual bias or conflict which might justify denying their retention and compensation, and the retention and employment of the firm are in the best interests of the estate. The order states that law firm shall be compensated for services rendered and reimbursed for expenses incurred following the applicable provisions of the Bankruptcy Code, the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, and the Local Rules, as those procedures may be modified or supplemented by order of the Court.
