November 5, 2021, Middle District of Florida – The United States Bankruptcy Court for Middle District of Florida approves the application of Bizgistics, Inc. (“Debtor”) for entry of an order authorizing the employment of Erik Johanson PLLC as a special counsel for the Debtor.
As stated in the application filed with the bankruptcy court, the Special counsel is retained in connection with the investigation, work up, and pursuit of the litigation claims. The application states that in addition to the claims presently asserted in the Adversary (Bizgistics, Inc. v. Banner Delivery, Inc., et al., Adv. Pro. 3:21-ap-00070-RCT), the estate may possess claims and causes of action against the targets for fraud, fraudulent inducement, negligent misrepresentation, civil conspiracy, aiding and abetting, and breach of contract arising out of the negotiation, execution, and performance of an asset purchase agreement.
