$35M Claim Transferred in Avianca Holdings SA

September 13, 2021, Southern District of New York – CRG Financial LLC recently bought a big claim in Avianca Holdings SA bankruptcy case. Cajas Automaticas Jarinson S.a.s.transferred its proof of claim worth $35,439,258.00 and scheduled claim worth $10,704.85 to CRG Financial, LLC

Avianca Holdings S.A. is a pan-regional Latin American company that provides passenger and cargo air transportation services in North America, Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia, Europe, and South America. 

Last year on Mya 10, 2020, Avianca Holdings S.A. and certain of its subsidiaries and affiliates filed voluntary petitions under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York to preserve and reorganize Avianca’s businesses as the company continued to navigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Avianca’s case is jointly administered under Case No. 20-11133 before the Honorable Martin Glenn.
