May 14, 2021, Eastern District of Washington – Trustee Steven D. Sass of the Astria Health GUC Distribution Trust of the Debtors Astria Health, et al., (the “Debtors”) initiated adversary proceedings against 34 defendants on May 5, 2021 to avoid and recover certain transfers that took place during the ninety (90) day period before the commencement of the bankruptcy of the Debtors as alleged preferential payments.

The largest claim in the group was filed against Oregon-based PacifiCorp. in the amount of $284,104.00.

Astria Health along with its 13 debtor-affiliates is a group of medical facilities. The Debtors filed voluntary petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Washington under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code on May 6, 2019. The Debtors’ cases are being jointly administered for procedural purposes only.

Honorable Judge Whitman L. Holt is overseeing the Debtors’ bankruptcy cases. The plaintiff Trustee is represented by Schweet Linde & Coulson, PLLC. The case is In re Astria Health with the lead Bankruptcy Case Number 19-01189-11.
