Over Twenty Defendants Face Bankruptcy Clawback Actions in Americore Bankruptcy

April 4, 2022, Kentucky – Plaintiff St. Alexius Hospital Corporation #1 filed adversary actions against twenty-one (21) defendants in the Debtors Americore Holdings, LLC et al. bankruptcy case seeking to recover money from the defendants as alleged preferential transfers pursuant to Section 547 of the Bankruptcy case. The Plaintiff contends that these transfers were made within the 90 days of the filing of the Debtors’ bankruptcy petition. The claim amounts in these actions is in the range of $15,000 to $440,300. The adversary cases were filed in the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. The law firm of Baker & Hostetler represents the Plaintiff in these actions. Judge Gregory R. Schaaf presides over the bankruptcy case and these adversary actions.
