September 13, 2021, Eastern District of Michigan – The United States Bankruptcy Court for Eastern District of Michigan approves the application of Detroit World Outreach Church (“Debtor”) for entry of an order authorizing the employment of Clark Hill, PLC as a special counsel for the Debtor.

As stated in the application filed with the bankruptcy court, the Debtor selected Clark Hill, PLC in this matter for the firm’s experience in dissolution proceedings, litigation, and the benefits of the firm’s resources, expertise, and knowledge. The application states that compensation for fees will be based upon an hourly rate of $350. The application also stated that the law firm does not have any actual bias or conflict which might justify denying their retention and compensation, and the retention and employment of the firm is in the best interests of the estate.
